"Searching for Utopia" means a many times magnified by a turtle to the sea looking self-portrait rider on top of the shield. It refers to Utopia of Thomas More. The impressive bronze statue is 7 meters long, 3 meters high and weighs 5.5 tons. Newport, this work has been purchased after installing it in the context of the art Triennial "Beaufort 2003 '.
Abrasion and Erasure (On Labour), 2012, Some verbal words in English that indicate the conditions of skin and fabric are chosen and given an embroidered visual/tactile drawing. Eight visual words are crafted to form a connection between a labored body and a strained fabric. These drawings are to be read like a manuscript, on very close intimate viewing/reading.
